I am just confused about the order to GE and Alstom for diesel engines for Railways. Because I have been to the factories producing diesel engines and found out that diesel engines are being exported to Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, May an mar and some other countries. Since we are able export them then what's the need of importing engines?
