EntMnt Xclusive HD channels' cost justifies or not

Hi friends

I just wanna know whether the cost of hd channels r justified or not ?
because what i have seen HD channels' pq is not that different from its counterpart sd feed but in price there is a lot of differences.

e.g. in adtv - each hd channels of star sports is @ 75rs per month
each hd channel of Hindi Gecs is @ 51rs / month

i still do not understand y there is the add on fees @ 175 rs n @ 150 or @ 125 rs in tata sky n d2h respectively?

y adtv charging 204 rs for just 26 hd channels only ?

go and get ur tv checked. there is a lot of diff between hd and sd channel picture quality. or u can blame airtel for giving poor picture quality ☺

but for 1 hd channel y one wud pay as high as 75 rs ?

bcoz most dth ops want customers to opt for packages and increase ARPU

also it is nice as u can opt for just 2 or 3 chs as a-la-carte and enjoy. why to take packages when at Rs. 200 u can get 3 HD chs

yes. i opted for hd upgrade @1800 rs only for 1 year hd channels r free.

I think high time for MIB to bring a policy like other Countries for every channel.

Either they have SD feed or HD feed not separate feed to loot peoples.

it cannot b possible in india.
e.g. u want colors in hd n i want colors in sd.
so it cannot b possible as one of us wud b deprived.
