See the specification first.
in my both hdmi cables - only high speed is written. so is it ok or shud i purchase a new one with 1.4 version written there

It will not create any diff. Ur tv is faulty

Suggestible is 1.4 HDMI cable but first know where is the fault exactly.If HDMI then need to change that.
then y normal channels looks good ? problem is with hd channels only.
i think my hdmi cable is not able to take 1080i properly thats y 576i normal sd channels looks okay but 1080 i hd channels looks bad
yes. i know that but hd channels look bad n ugly in my hdtv.

Dude, its a no brainer. How can ur "faulty" HDMI cable give good picture quality for low resolution chs and bad for high resolution chs when the wire carrying signals is same. Had wire been faulty then SD chs would have suffered more

Change the HDMi cable and see it.if you post both channel pics then it would be more fine.
