First of all why did you allow division to happen? This should have been a united state. Since one person wanted to be CM he tied up with one political party and divided the state.

That is not going to happen so soon bro. A lot of politics will be played on it. Because if Andhra will be given Special Status then Bihar, Jharkhand and many other states will start the agitation demanding for them too.

Let them.. Any govt did not promised them about special status. Our pm promised in parliament and BJP elections manifests first point is special status. Congress and BJP promised special status. Bro when division happened for Telangana total Hyderabad and for ap special status this the deal. If they given Hyderabad to Telangana what is the problem to give special status to us?? We don't care about other states because it is our right.

They might have promised but Special Status can only be given if "Neeti Aayog" recommends it. Unless they recommend, how can Modi or anyone else grant the Special Status to any state bhai.

New Andhra capital, 'Amravati' to cost over Rs 27,000 crore
New Delhi: An expert committee appointed for the new capital of Andhra Pradesh has suggested an estimated Rs 27,097 crore as the cost for building 'Amravati', Lok Sabha was informed on Tuesday.
Minister of State for Home Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary said in the supportive document submitted alongwith the report, the expert committee appointed for the purpose of new capital of Andhra Pradesh had indicated Rs 10,519 crore for capital zone buildings, Rs 1,536 crore for capital zone infrastructure, Rs 5,861 crore for city infrastructure and Rs 9,181 crore for city infrastructure growth extension.
