How is it costly bhai. Everyone is ditching d2h and Airtel to move to Tata Sky and you are citing costly as reason.

But if 100 people will subscribe the same pack then TS will earn 500 only but actually here they fooling broadcasters on the number of subscribers because carriage agreement get signs on the basis of user number.

So they just giving Rs.5 & getting more than 25 HD channels
& giving this offer every week or even every month will attract customers towards HD access & customers will get benefited every month.
Tata sky will be in loss & additionally, tata sky giving special offers to selected customers like 50% discount on package+ addons etc.
So they will be in great loss only

But they are recovering loss from rich customers as they don't use offers most of the times

& long term customers will not have any big balance on their account as tata sky deducts all money at once
So they will have just few rupees in their account in major cases
