i think pics taken from 2 different hdmi ports.
bcoz in sony tvs, hdmi ports gives default settings.
if u changed the settings in port 1 n not in port 2 then port 2 will display default settings only.

Even on lcd I am getting good pq of HD channels and here i think you are using led tv and then too the pq is not upto the mark
