Arre American bhai, broadcasters and operators both know that customers can't pay more than a certain limit. Also broadcasters hatdly get 10% revenue thru subscription cost, going forward pricing will rationalize.

As u have seen Premium Chs r becoming Normal ad driven chs, this is bcoz of the worry which almost all have and no one can afford to pay more money.

There will soon be an equilibrium achieved where chs will cost less to operators, operators will keep packages affordable balancing their profit and investment and we will get chs at economical prices

Dude, 100% increase on Rs. 300 is equal to Rs. 600 and 300% increase is 1200.


Also all the increase u have seen was necessary to stabilize the market. Earlier in anolog we were under paying, broadcasters don't used to get their share of revenue as Cable Operators under declared customers thus causing leakage in revenue to broadcasters and taxes to governments.

Plz go and research for facts , then u will understand these dynamics
