why DTHs are more costly than MSOs ?

hi friends
as i have seen that dths top packages are in the range of 500-600 rs
while mso are in between 325-350

One of the reason is MSO do not disclose actual subscriber to broadcaster. So they crack deal in lesser budget than DTH. Also government is levying addition taxes on DTH services.
