Just now TataSky people informed me after internal discussion with technology team that the stb is the latest one ie., 86 series. It has to be replaced with old 77 Series box which they are trying to source from their other locations. They promised me to replace in a day or two. Let's see.

That's really ridiculous that their latest hardware had compatibility issue and not supporting reverse compatibility

Me facing the same problem wid my Sony Bravia LED and Tata Sky HD + Box !
Only difference it was working absolutely fine since last 2-3 yrs up untill day before .. When the said problem started !
Tata sky cust care fellow came ... Blamed the TV .. I blasted him .. We tried wid my other latest Tata Sky HD + transfer box (connected to a samsung TV) which worked fine on the Sony .. So I blasted him ... He got a replacement Box .. But unfortunately even that dint work !!!
It works just fine wid an AV cable ... But still not working on HDMI ... Tried changing cables too ....

And sinc my Box is almost 2/3 yrs old .. I doubt its an issue wid the series .. Wht beats me is wht changed suddenly to cause this distress !!!

Any help welcome ...

Haranath ... Any solution in sight ??
