Breaking News Colors Ki DaDaGiRi Gutthi (Sunil Grover) and Dadi (Ali Asgar) slapped with a legal notice?

The latest news doing the rounds in the media is that Sunil and Ali have been slapped with a legal notice from the channel. Reason? Ali or Sunil can't perform in Dadi or Gutthi's get-up in any other show. The report further stated that according to the notice, Ali can't dress up as an old lady with grey hair and a jooda (a bun), while Sunil is also banned from wearing ribbons that his character Gutthi sported on CNWK. If they do so, it will call for copyright infringement. All this is mentioned in the legal notice which has been handed over to the team, concluded the report.

I know AGAIN you guys think that I'm insulting Colors but, it's true it's wrong decision by channel.

not at all. Its their own matters. They didn't joined the channel or signed for the serials after taking our permissions.

Legal and copyright matters are not insulting or any any wrong, Colors just want to be in safe side.
I remember the same instance happed When earlier Sunil left the show n he was given the same type notice regarding his character in the show.
So its all fair.

If the characters are part of the broadcaster then it is illegal to use same in rival broadcasters. Although some would want royalty payments for each time they portray the character.
