after three years, all the equipments are of the customers. so no need to deposit anything back to the dth company if u have used it for more than 3 years.

The HD STB is only 1 year old.

if ur connection is more than 3 years old then it is urs only.
so if ur hd stb is 1 year old but ur connection is > 3 years old then hd stb is of urs.

last year when i returned my connection they paid me 500 rs. i asked y, they told me that its a resale value.
i took den stb in early 2012, i paid 800 rs. only, i used it for more than 3 years and most of the times in just 200 rs. i was getting all the channels. all the channels means all the channels.
after using it for more than 3 years, i got 500 rs. back.
so neeyat par bhi depend karta h.
d2h connections are costliest in the industry. and this is unethical that they have been charging such high prices for their connections.
