Another STB replacement happened. HD2233 Mfg: Jan 2016.

Will move to Tata Sky after d2h subscription ends.
Won't go for airtel coz 1) I don't like their logo and 2) Almost all recharge sites have stopped providing any kinda cashback offer for Airtel DTH.

Well. third box too is defective. Same black screen issue.
Just called D2H Nodal Officer and registered a complaint.

He replied that we'll arrange another replacement asap. But told him that box replacement was just a call away but this time I don't just want a box replacement I want assurance that the next box that'll be installed will not be defective.
Box hi change karwana hota to aapko call nahi karta. Box to teen baar badla ja chuka hai. I want a solution for this loop of box replacement.

He said that the best STB model will be installed this time. Let's see.

D2H STBs are crap. You need to experience Tata Sky STB. Even the boot time on Tata Sky is less than d2h. It's faster than d2h for sure.

XkabirX i too tried hard to solve your problem last time but unfortunately i couldn't do anything from my side.
Hope this time you will get buggy free stb.
But i recommend you to go for HD2244 it's better one among all d2h's stb.

Yes Ajai bro. Thanks again for your help and efforts.
But error got resolved only after STB replacement.

Just got a call from nodal officer again. He said that they'll send a 6666 STB from Noida as that STB is not available anywhere in my city.

Yeah my friend has Tata Sky and the channel changing speed is quite good in it. It doesn't lags like d2h.
I will surely switch to Tata sky after subscription ends.

As Ajai bro said 2244 seems to be the best stable model as of now.

Warranty seal of two of them seemed to be re-taped.. When I told this to d2h guy he said that we install only fresh box and not repair ones and bla bla.
I was not in a mood to argue with him.
Current 2233 has warranty sticker intact.

Engineer once told me that their might be an issue with adapter :V
and yesterday he asked me to change the remote . :|
