I reckon the price increase is due to service tax hike. It's increased to 15% now wef 01.04.16
So no Ten Channels in Grand Sports and they have increased the price as well. Why do they have to change pacakges so much ? What will people on Grand Sports do then ? Pay more to get Ultra Pack.
Dhamaal Sports, Bumper and Ultra are the three new base packs introduced with a price hike as scorpionking76 mentioned due to hike in service tax. Grand Sports, Supreme Sports, Supreme Sports Kids & Metro packs will be discontinued. The new Sports Dhamaka Pack does have Ten Sports, Ten Cricket, Ten Action, Ten HD, Ten Golf HD.

nice update guys.After all the ten channels are added into the base packs.
Grand Sports package is no more available but still they have increased the price. Because of tax ?

They have changed the name of grand sports pack I think

Yes they have changed the name of Grand sports pack and renamed it Ultra with inclusion of Ten network channels
