World Television Premiere of " Kai Po Che "

@ techobhatt but why the hell are they doing like this...

As I said earlier, these channels have employed some mindless fellows who don't understand the grammar of movie aspect ratio and thus they are screwing viewers' experience.
These useless channelwalas think their viewers will be pleased if they remove black bars from the screen; but they don't see they have chopped off the image and most importantly the director's version of the movie !!

great move by Zee TV, good to see a HD movie without black bars, every channel should follow this, personally i likes movies in 16:9 Aspect Ratio, i hope all the viewers may like this type of broadcasting

No offense, but you're like watching movies with chopped off images throughout... just for the sake of not having black bars.... you're almost missing 30% part of the movie image all the time....What kind of movie fan you are?
Don't you see what I explained in the pictures posted earlier... If you can't agree with something, at least don't support the absurdity going around !!
If you're really fan of watching movie without black bars, you can do the same with Zoom Options of picture settings in your TV... but at least don't let it screw it for rest of the viewers who are interested in watching original content without modification

I am with techobhatt , I missed the movie but I really hate when original aspect ration is skewed .

But this was the 1st time they did like this. The had never done this before in any old or new movie.

Hope they realize their mistake and next time telecast in proper and original aspect ratio.

I had just requested you to NOT support something which may ruin fun for others...remember you wrote 'every channel should follow this' !!
The problem is...if the channel broadcast a movie with cropped version, we can't bring it into its original aspect ratio. There is no way...
But if somebody like you wanna watch a movie on full screen, can do the same by utilizing the Zoom options under picture settings...Isn't this - Live or Let Live ?

Yes, if anyone wants to remove the black bar, he can anytime use the inbuilt feature of TV. But when the same is done by broadcaster, we are left with no option but to watch in bad aspect ratio.

Now a days when technology is so advanced why are we expecting VCR kind of picture quality.

Also, by stretching the pictures, characters look awkward.
