How many HD users are using the max resolution ??? My friend sent the pic, he says HD STB has been updated. Any idea which all STB have these option. I also heard that 1080p option is also coming ???
No 1080p is not there in HD box

Dolby Digital Plus on Tata Sky doesn't work well. They should consider providing Dolby Digital only.
Zee TV, Romedy Now HD and MTV Indies HD have Dolby Digital sound and they offer the loudest and most effective sound.

Dolby Digital Plus encoding is not helping Tata Sky. They are probably not encoding it right.

But max resolution on HD STB as per the above pic posted is 1080i@60Hz
Bro, @60Hz is refresh rate. Resolution is 1080i. Both @50Hz and @60Hz have same resolution even 1080p has the same resolution as 1080i.

My TV doesn't handle @60Hz refresh rate well, so I have set it to @50Hz.

How to know if TV doesn't handle refresh rate properly, what are the things we must see. I am asking as I have no knowledge abt this :)

I get shaky kind of pictures @60Hz, so it means it is not handling well. It works fine @50Hz.

Ohh. I get sometimes shaky pic, but I cant figure out if its camera or the scene that's making that or its because of the refresh rate.

If the picture feels like it's shuttering. It's probably because of the incorrect refresh rate setting.
