Broadcasting on Star would make much sense. They are the most experienced one. Did you see how Sony was messing up with audio tracks by constantly changing from one channel to another? Star would not have such situation because they already have Star Sports 3, which is in Hindi all the time.
So, English and other regional language feeds can easily be broadcasted on Star Sports 1/HD1 and Hindi feed, which also comes with Hindi graphics can easily be broadcasted on Star Sports 3/HD3 and simulcasted on Star Gold.

The major drawback is star would too shuffle or broadcast in all the channels unnecessarily and already too much of cricket events are present in their kitty.

I guess as per contract clause, Sony has the first right to reject in case they wish to discontinue.

I prefer SS over Sony ....especially the extra innings sucks where in they chat both in English and Hindi....its better to have 2 separate pre innings show one for English and the other for Hindi Viewers.... mixing up both does not go well with me...
