I purchased a new add on HD STB ...
1 primary & 3 add on ....
Tatasky sky installed new LNB as the existing one was 7 years old.

Yes, 1 primary & 3 add on connection
it is a single port LNB.
A splitter is used, I checked with the technician he informed that they install single port LNB only, splitter is used if multiple connection are required.
