Guys, I'm thinking of subscribing to tata sky. However, I saw a lot of people complaining on twitter that of all the DTHs, tata sky is the most susceptible to rain fade.

From what I heard, its signal goes off even during slight rain or wind . Could any tata sky users shed more light on this?

Rain fade is common in every DTH. and it happens only when its heavy clouds or heavy rain.

Thanks guys for the replies. They're reassuring. But I swear there's a ton of tweets on twitter mocking tata sky, saying it is the best weather forecast equipment in the country given its signal goes off at the first hint of rain.

You just convince them to install your connection with Super LNB and you won't face much issue even during rain.

I haven't faced any strange issue with signal fading in rain on Tata Sky yet. It was there on d2h as well. It happens on all the DTHs.
