This is for those who think Vadirocks bro doesn't have any source. He had informed about Jaya TV HD launch even before we came to know that they got HD license and had provided 18th June as Tentative Date

Will mere changing the logo and adding HD make it an HD channel? Or is there indeed some difference in the quality. And where is the SD version.

What is going on in jaya tv is not clear. No separate HD channel. The SD channel logo only changed. Same quality. The scroll says all cable operators are requested to change set top box for up gradation.

It's separate hd channel...all dth added downscale hd feed...

Its downscaled HD means like travel xp HD which is same in SD too but with less picture quality & same content including logo too

Now Jaya TV will only have HD feed and all the cable and DTH operators will downscale the HD feed to SD and then broadcast.

It will take sometime for the channel to be have complete HD content

I feel Jaya strategy is good in contrast to others when all have both SD and HD feeds with same content and programs/Advertisement airing at the same time.

Mean while Jaya will have only one feed thats HD or upscaled or downscaled (whatever u call). Good going
