After much dithering, I finally subscribed to tata sky two days back. It's monsoon here and rained on both days I have had the tata sky stb but there wasn't the slightest disruption. Yesterday, there was a sudden, heavy downpour and still the signal did not go off.

But it's a fact that on twitter and other dth-based forums, tata sky is being projected as being most susceptible to rain fade issue. I saw a raft of tweets saying that its signal would go off even during light rain.
Good to hear that you aren't facing rain fade issue. I hardly get this issue since I am on Tata Sky MDU and large size antenna along with Super LNB keep such issues away.
