I agree with you IM bro ... its pretty stupid to wait for everyone to get converted to mpeg 4 and then add more HD channels ... But maybe they think that only if a limited % of subscribers who have mpeg4 capable STBs get more channels others will feel its unfair .. However atleast we can stop speculating till June 2014 as to when TS will add new channels .. Now we can speculate in Dec 2013 whether they will add TEN HD for Ind SA series and then SONY SIX HD for IPL 7 In April 2014 ...

They will do it sooner or later but its totally time gaining strategy.,

They well know that isro is unable to provide requested tp in time limit. Also mr. Nagpal added that channels will be added in phase manner so channels will be add one by one.

yesterday tata chief met to some minister for discussion on tata asia airline clearance that time something happen hence ts is still waiting answer from isro.

I don't think Air Asia has anything to do with Tata Sky. Air Asia is being handled by entirely different team. May be Harit Nagpal would have requested Cyrus Mistry to discuss about Satellites but I can't see any co-relation between Aviation ministry and I&B ministry.

What happen if isro given tp? I think ts is well known about then who stop ts to expand their channels hence they take this mpeg4 action. They want to expand their business specially in south.

Got the new news from local Ts office.

They got the news from ts officially for migration From MPEG2 To MPEG4 but the ts will provide a list of customers(which customer is applicable for migration) to them( local office),They will get list on this month or by next month for exchanging boxes.But they have no info about its charge. The applicable charge or no charge will be come with the list.
