Yes i have received a new box. Doesn't seem that tad ugly, but yes the old box looked better. As per viewing experience, it's completely different and HD channel quality are top notch. The remote seems to be bit buggy with software, cannot reset it or even read the messages from Airtel. Called a support engineer to get it checked.

Btw out of topic question - is Sony LePlex HD available in Max HD pack? I have a Max HD package and is asking to subscribe.

call cc and ask him to activate HD customer identification top up. U can also activate it via airtel online self care portal.
Sony LePlex HD will automatically be added to hd base pack once free preview period gets over.

all curved hd boxes are bigger than the old rectangular hd boxes.
these new hd boxes upscales sd channel to 1080i which is worst. hence pq of many sd channels does not look great.
