Not only malyalam but in in future we can see lots of fta channels on tata sky because if channel pay 50 paise per stb per year then 10 Mn * 50 paise = 50 lack rupees carries fee from broadcaster. Tp rate 1 core per year[50 to 60 lakh per year as per ts ceo] so they will recover dept from fta channels and currently airtel and d2h doing same thing.

good thing is that they are replacing in pan india so i think they are in hurry and may achieve target by feb - march next year

In my opinion Ts is silently changing the STBs other parts of India apart from south silently...i guess by this year end this should have swapped atleast 70 - 80% of the customers...
