They have telecasted 6-7 matches simultaneously. If only you had Tata Sky, you would know. They had 4-5 Star Sports add-on channels on Tata Sky for extra matches. They didn't have space for everything, that's why they launch new channels that everyone can watch all the matches if such thing happens, like you say 10 matches. So they are pretty much always ready for it, they have idea how to manage it, they run Sky Sports and Fox Sports in so many countries.
If I needs to buy Tata Sky then why need 10 sports channels ? Then why they're distributing those channels either ? They can easily creates ads like to watch any sports from Star buy Tata Sky. I am happy to have 1 Star Sports SD, Star Sports HD for other platforms & 20 Star Sports SD & HD for Tata Sky. After launching 10 Sports channels if I need Tata Sky to cover a league then sorry no more discussion.
That's what I said, they expand their numbers every year. Starting channels need permission but as an in house channel, it was convenient for them to show on Tata Sky, simple logic. There is no need of discussion, no point, Ten Sports is out of the picture.
