I'm not talking about black bars, I'm saying progressive requires more transmission bandwidth(satellite space)..

Black bars are due do aspect ratio differences between original video and screen. It's accomated to get the whole video on screen.
But you can crop any video to make 16:9 for your TV full screen viewing.

16:9 aspect ratio is cropped one, so it's not as good as it looks. It misses big details than originally filmed 21:9 ratio.

I know. But to get full screen you will miss the whole frame on screen. It needs to be cropped.

I am not for it. I was for it when I didn't know anything about video. Now I know enough to know what's cropping and what's real.

Cinematographer doesn't shoot for TV, they shoot for cinemas. Cropping is done by broadcasters.
