No Channel broadcast in 1080p any where in world. If you select this & if you have 1080p Tv then all channels will be upscaled to 1080p.

You have to select according to your TV configuration. Buy the way higer refresh rate produce less blur in fast moving object. But again select according to your TV configuration as 60 Hz input video in a 50 Hz tv will produce 50 Hz on screen.

even SD one ? :p
i have 32" LED TV and if i put 720p or 1080i picture look same .
can i see any difference if i put it on 1080P ?

Is there any option available in HD Setting menu for 60Hz in TS HD+ new SW ? if not how can a user change to 60Hz for viewing /recording even though the TV supports ?

Look what you need to know is that what is your Highest resolution and refresh rate your TV support? Now if video of any other resolution and refresh rate is provided as input then your TV processor will make change the input video to the resolution set on TV. This is why SD channels looks blur in HD Tv as sd channels has only 576 lines instead of 720 or 1080.

After 3-4 start offs my HD+ stb still shows sw download status as'idle'. Should I try downloading once again?
