though i also have this doubt that earlier stb particularly SD PVR are not DVB S2 compatible, but dvb s2 transponder has bandwidth of 56-74 mbps on a 36mhz transponder depending upon FEC used, whereas DVB S transponder has 38-48 mbps depending upon FEC used, so it does indeed result in significantly enhanced bandwidthMay be but i dont think the need of DVBS2 TP for SD Channels. how much extra space they get in DVBS2 than DVBS?
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy Tab3
mpeg 2 vs mpeg 4 has no effect on transponder's total bandwidth as they are compression techniques whereas dvb s vs dvb s2 are modulation techniques which effect transponder bandwidthReally ? How much more space a TP will get if its converted from MPEG2 DVBS to MPEG4 DVBS ? How much more space from MPEG4 DVBS to MPEG4 DVBS2 ?
Thanx and agreed .mpeg 2 vs mpeg 4 has no effect on transponder's total bandwidth as they are compression techniques whereas dvb s vs dvb s2 are modulation techniques which effect transponder bandwidth
What is this DVD and DVD S2???????mpeg 2 vs mpeg 4 has no effect on transponder's total bandwidth as they are compression techniques whereas dvb s vs dvb s2 are modulation techniques which effect transponder bandwidth
I saw in C Band channels .perhaps from Palapa D , or Chinasat 6B.Cant remember exactly.sir,MPEG2-DVBS2 is available any where?
Its not DVD but DVBWhat is this DVD and DVD S2???????
I think you are trying to say DVB in place of DVD.
By the way DVB is Broadcast standard. It is Not a modulation. Modulation is PSK. such as QPSK or 8PSK etc. Please do research before posting.
