no dth operator is getting a single transponder from isro, if i am correct d2h was the last operator to get 2 transponders from isro in may 2012, since then there is a complete freeze on transponder allocation, reason being ISRO devas scam, now as general elections are approaching so govt is hesitant to take any action which raise scam allegations, therefore antrix/DOS/ISRO official are afraid that if they allocate any transponders to any firm there will be again scam allegations, we can hope for new transponder allocation only after general elections are over.

This was a old thread and this TP is not activated yet. This TP is now changed to Data TP and running in 16APSK Modulation. 11679,H,26500,23,S2,16APSK
once any TP is added or activated it will be informed
