Governor interview published in Mumbai Mirror today. She is saying that she was waiting for कांग्रेस to come with Mandate and even gave extra time to them but they never arrived.

And BJP come to meet her up with all candidates and signed in front of her to form government

She will say the same but Congress was never in a hunt to form the Govt. they was assured with having Govt. in Goa but realized that it's too late.

No, he's still with the Congress. There were rumours that he will be joining the MGP. But Pappu came to Goa and had talks with Senior Rane.

Today he resigned as the MLA and from Congress. He will re-contest soon.

Expecting more Congress MLA to leave.

Well i am happy that Parrikar is the CM again and BJP is in power. But at the same time i feel bad for him leaving the Defence Ministry. He was dong a great job there, and helping PM.

I am sure PM will find a good replacement for that post.

Congress says that the Governor is at fault. I feel she is not.

When any party gets a majority that is 50% of the seats in the assembly, its the default party that gets invitation to form the Govt.
In the case of Goa and Manipur, no party got a clear majority. Congress did get more seats than BJP but the votes share was more for the BJP.

Now in a fractured mandate, the Governor can call the single largest party,(If they have majority) or can call the leader of the largest coalition party that has the majority, but they should have the majority to prove before the governor. here Congress didnt have any support, hence BJP was called which had the support of other local party.
