Tell me one thing if STB is on Standby mode and update received and stored in back.
Now the electricity down. Will updation data will be lost or remains?

It will not be stored, it will be installed automatically.

I got Software update for my HD stb today @ 12 am SEE THE SCREENSHOTS. Some features are,
1) New software comes with USB recording Enabled.
2) EPG is a lot faster now (Most great advantage of software update)
3) Startup d2h logo updated with HD clarity (crispy clear to see like HD 2222 stb)
4) Dolby Sound can be set Default so we don't have to press info + yellow + side buttons every time for DLOBY. (second great advantage)
5) Weather added in EPG
6) Full HD video set to 1080p from 1080i (Progressive is good than Interlaced)
7) Dolby of Star Cricket HD Improved (no low volume, its now high with bass volume)
cons:
1) STB startup time is slightly Higher
2) EPG's right side d2h logo replaced with Ad of d2h for "balance check". which is not good to see.
3) In Dolby we cant still up/down volume by d2h remote like older version.
