The Chinese site claims that the OnePlus's next flagship will try to compete against the lines of Galaxy S8, iPhone 8 and LG G6. The flagship phone is expected to have an all-screen design much like the Galaxy S8 with narrow bezels and will also not have a physical home button. The phone is expected to place the fingerprint sensor at the back of the phone, which will be easier to access as compared to the Galaxy S8.
The OnePlus 5 is supposedly going to sport Qualcomm's latest chipset Snapdragon 835 and is also expected to have 8GB of RAM. The OnePlus 3/3T shipped with 6GB of RAM last year and it seems logical for OnPlus to take the next step.
The flagship device is also expected to feature a 5.5-inch display with 2K resolutions and a 23-megapixel dual lens rear camera. It is also expected to have a battery capacity of 3,000 mAh and have a premium all-metal design, which will only be 7mm thick.
