Transponder 11470 Now Converted To DVBS2 8PSK ,FEC Changed to 3/4.

New Parameters Are 11470-H-30000-3/4-DVBS2-8PSK.

its bandwidth has increased from 48 to 66 mbps, 18 extra mbps means around 15 SD MPEG4 channels

20 mpeg 4 channels are there apart from those on 11470h, they can reshuffle them into a single transponder and convert one more transponder to dvb s2

Now that they have converted this transponder to DVB-S2, they should add 1-2 HD channels in the free space available so that HD users can also enjoy new channels

some simple calculation 48 Mb/34 channels = 1.41 Mb/channel. Now they convert into 8psk hence increase in bandwidth, i.e. Near about 18 Mb/1.41 ~ 12 channels.
But for in future they are use to add some data channels so we can expect 3 to 5 more channels on this tp.
