Bros,

I got the update. Everything is great, UI has become fast and smooth. EPG loads fast.

One issue i have found. After S/W update my Signal levels on all Channels have changed..... Is this OK, can anyone check

Ch.99 Before Update:

SS: 80%
SQ: 80%
SL: 225

After Update:

SS: 65%
SQ: 80%
SL: 177

And BER has changed to CNR.

Update: PQ and SQ improved. Just tune into any HD channel with DD/DD+ Audio u will notice the difference.

All 3 HD STBs of mine updated .. this time the authenticity of signal level can be trusted atleast CNR..

This SW Update made a good change of introducing CNR [Carrier Noice ratio] which is showing almost correct info... for example .. if u r getting 12.8 db in Star Sports HD /Zee TV HD which is in 10970 H Transponder then no need to worry.. u r getting almost very good signals..

Mr.Bhat ji, i am getting CNR between 12.1-12.4 db on ZeeTV HD/Star Sports 1 is this OK ???

SS: 60% and SQ: 60%

Also are u getting same Signal levels on all ur 3 HD STB for the same Channel ???
For Eg: Ch.99 has same signal levels in all 3 stb ???

Although Differant Dish for all 3 STBs the Technicolor STBs 14.3 db in LCN 99.. BTW thanx for reminding these bcoz Huawei STB still showing BER levels Even after updated 108 SW Version...
On ur signal CNR .. its ok unless u get issues now and then... if its upto 13 db then less issues during rain and dark clouds..

If u want then u can update manually... i have updated 2 STBs mannually and 1 automatic update..

On Channel 99, i get 13.3 now, its not raining however clouds are there.

Also Huawei HD STB dont support CNR as of now.

What about the CNR on Zee TV HD is that OK ???

And what explains the reduction in Signal Strength after update, is it coz of CNR ??

Just ignore the Signal Level counts... yes ch 99 CNR/Signal quality is ok for now.. as i said if u get more signal blackouts then u should consider of realigning or LNB issues or cable issues...otherwise fine..

Its related to SW of STB .. we can get differant levels in different STBs... If ur LNB is working fine then not to worry...
BTW I have checked in C Band LNB on this.. its a power related one but not yet tried in KU Band... its bcoz i didnt get a single polarity LNB yet...
