Well we can change the audio in channels like Ten1 HD but its not possible in all ...
I think u have to compromise 1 option regarding audio... either DD audio or Use in HT instead of TV... If u connected HDMI To TV then enable PCM in HDMI and for DD Audio connect HT with Optical option.. Keep low volume in STB User setting ...
BTW I am using HT for All channel Audio.. in this settings we have to increase volume while watching for SD channels and for some HD which have DD only like Ten 1 HD... this what i am doing....Also we cant adjust Volume for DD Audio channels in Remote...
Ten doesn't have DD audio

If i change the sound settings in TS STB from Dolby to PCM via HDMI, then the issue gets fixed and all channels have equal sound and i can use TS remote to change volume.

Its now set to Dolby via HDMI, this setting has not been changed and is the same since i got TS last year. With this setting my old sony TV used to work properly, but new TV has low volume on HD channels having DD audio
Thats what i was trying to tell you. Your old tv didn't support dolby thus box was sending pcm only.

But bro, the old TV used to detect Dolby and show in info. It used to show stereo for SD channels and Dolby for HD channels having DD

You dont have any other option other than adjusting with the existing behavior. Even in my LGTV have same behavior. for channels with DD sound, i am using HT remote to adjust sound.

So there is no solution for this??? How is that old sony led tv was working fine, that also supported Dolby Audio. I am sure it has nothing to do with STB and HT.

If i change the audio to PCM then i cannot enjoy DD Audio on HT, so i will have to sit with low volume in DD Audio.

BTW, even u cant change volume on TS remote on DD Channels ???
Bas yahi to baat hai. I suffered with this issue so much that I am without tv since last 3-4 months.

This is nothing but Dolby codec issue. It's more common with LG and Sony TVs.

In Samsung you won't find such issues.
