Shubham bro, currently I'm using etisalat cable HD DVR here. Best option on this is we can start over any programs. For eg. If Star a Movies is showing one movie and it's going to finish, so when we are switching to Star Movies we will get one message, to start over the movie. So that we can watch the movie from the start (as per the EPG start time).

No, it says to start the movie as per default recording schedule. But you can anytime forward and start watching the movie from the require time shift.

But IndianMascot the forwarding can be done as per the review buffer settings. And the max buffer is 90 mins in TS..

Justin Jolly : see how it works. If you are watching Star Movies since last one hour and suddenly you wish to go out and watch remaining movie later on, you hit record button. So, in this case your entire movie available in buffer will get recorded. Max buffer time allowed by DVRs is 90 minutes.

But if you immediately switch to some channel and wish to record program which has already started it will record from the moment you switched that channel irrespective of its start time.
