Restructuring of local businesses Zee Entertainment hived off three of its businesses into separate subsidiaries.

*Zee Digital Convergence Ltd will be demerged into a separate entity. This includes the digital media and entertainment business. Ditto TV and OZEE will fall under this.

*The online media business under India Webportal will be demerged.

*The advertisement sales media business, which manages television and print ads, will be demerged into Zee Unimedia Ltd.

*Sarthak Entertainment, which holds the Odiya general entertainment channel, will be merged with ZEEL soon.

Where does it say that they are rebranding. Only the entities will be merged now.

Sarthak was a channel owned by another company which zee purchased. It was still a subsidiary of zee entertainment enterprise. Now they will merge that company with Zee as a result the company will cease to exist.

This is different from rebranding. Rebranding means changing logo name etc. This article dosent speak of rebranding it speaks only of merger of the subsidiary with parent company.

It is sure that they will also change the logo & transform it into Zee Sarthak like Star & Sony did in recent time.

Kindly give ur statement with facts...sarthak was sold to zeel in 2015 july with a sum of 100 cr...there is no news of rebranding..i am an odia btw..zee has two channel operated in odisha..i.e. zee kalinga news & sarthak tv..sarthak was previously owned by sitaram agrawal..a renowned name in odiya tv n film industry

Let us talk about when it actually happens. As things stand now, it is just merger and not rebranding. Isn't it too early to speak about the rebranding?
