Remember Sneha Ullal, the light-eyed Aishwarya Rai lookalike who was cherry-picked by Salman Khan to star opposite him. She may be headed to the small screen soon.

Everyone’s favourite television bahu, Hina Khan, aka Akshara of Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was rumoured to be returning to daily soaps with Rashmi Sharma’s new show "Tawaif".

Rashmi’s first choice seems to be Sneha, and if all goes well the Lucky star will make her small screen debut with this show.

The show will be a bold new addition to the small screen bandwagon. Tawaif will be based in a brothel and the lead character is a strong, spirited woman. Tawaif will be telecasted on Colors.

After Shakti- Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, it will be the next controversial plot from Rashmi Sharma's stable.

Rashmi Sharma, the impeccable storyteller in Indian television, is set to launch a strong concept soon on Colors, one that would revolve around the life of a sex worker.

Titled either Meena Bazaar or Tawaif, the plot is a strong one and sources maintain that the unit will soon begin shooting in Kolkata’s red light area Sonagachi.

However, now we have learnt that Mahhi Vij, if sources are to be believed, has been locked for the project.
