The company has made first Android O open beta build available to OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users. OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users will receive OxygenOS Open Beta 25 and Open Beta 16 respectively. For user convenience, the company has detailed flash instructions to download the latest build. Before proceeding to flash, we recommend users to back up all personal data, even in cases where a data wipe is not needed.
As expected, the new update for the devices bump the OS version to Android 8.0 Oreo with features like picture-in-picture for supporting apps like YouTube and Maps; new auto-fill feature; new smart text selection; new quick Settings design, and updated security patch to September. OnePlus has also detailed that the new update will bring some changes to the launcher which will see notification dots added and users will be able to upload photos directly to Shot on OnePlus.

Just days after rolling out OxygenOS 4.5.12 update for the OnePlus 5, the company has now released the OxygenOS 4.5.13 update. OnePlus says that the new update for OnePlus 5 will be rolled out over-the-air (OTA) 'incrementally', which is company speak for a 'phased rollout'. The company has also revealed that a broader rollout will start in a few days.
