Is someone ready to file legal case in consumer court against Tata Sky. I am ready to donate for this great cause.
what is your grievance? which trai regulation has tata sky violated? pricing is entirely a company's prerogative unless there's a statutory law or regulation to the contrary or the company is breaking a pre existing contract with the subscriber, tata sky clearly states in its subscriber agreement which we sign when we first take the service that it can any time change its pricing policies without prior notice

though i agree tata sky is getting greedy day by day but its not breaking any law

SWPHD is a Special Channel. its not combined with any pack .so no other channel will be activated if we subscribe that channel.

many rules are not followed by dth. The best ever known is locking of stb, ala cart price should not be double than its same channels pack.

Unlocking STB will not benefit customers as DISHTV still using MPEG 2. So technical problem.

Don't understand your second argument. Trai has mandated that from 1 Jan 2014 ala cart price should not be double than its whole sale price(price from Broadcaster end).

I am not saying they are breaking any law. Instead I am saying there isn't any regulation due to which all DTH operators are going on their own. So, there needs to be a regulation which can package and pricing module. There are many customers like me who are forced to use a particular operator and such operators are having the most absurd package pricing. There should be a basic model for making package pricing. Like a la carte is compulsory for all DAS. Similarly there should be some regulation not to introduce such stupid policies like HD access fee where a customer is bound to pay for those channels which he will never watch.

Was it 1st October or 1st January ? And why are you looking at the benefit part. If all DTH operator work properly , then STB portability cane easily be achieved.
