Vadirocks, IndianMascot, please help me, i couldnt find add on for activating recording, so do i have to email or call the CCs to do the same? Does my current software id 11 allows it to record it?

Yes ID 11 can record.
Insert Pendrive, then notice will come like you have to activate this feature. if you'll press OK then 199 rs will be cut and recording will be started @ rs30/pm.
I've checked it on old version 2011 with new software ID 40 for recording.

I think then only way is to activate it by calling CC. afaik. there is no other option in STB for it.

i got a doubt, can i choose base package+add on pack + a la carte channel? i couldnt find the option a la carte channels in the add on option page.

U can Choose base pack+ add-on+ a-la-carte

to choose a-la-carte, u need to go for 'Base Pack+ a-la-carte' option on website

This Activation Process of a-la-carte channels is slow , it will take more than 24 hours
