Sun Direct revamps customer care web portal

South India’s leading DTH player Sun Direct has revamped its customer care portal in a bid to provide ease of use to existing and new subscribers. Customers of Sun Direct can manage their account by logging on to http://www.my.sundirect.in or on the link from the Best DTH, DTH Service in India, Direct to Home, Digital TV, Full HD Display site.

Sun Direct MD Mahesh Kumar said: “With addition of new services, Sun Direct yet again demonstrates in delivering value to our esteemed customers. As innovators in DTH industry we will continue to customise our offerings to suit the needs of viewers.”

The portal has been designed to be user friendly and dedicated to improve the customer care services says the company. It enables the subscribers to search for every TV programme featuring their favourite star/director in one click and ensures they don’t miss out on anything. Customers can also use the ‘My Favorite’ page to add the most watched channels. The portal has more intuitive user-focused design that presents the important information in one place.

According to the new sun direct web site, first time, we have to enter mobile id to verify our mobile id. Without that we can't log in. You need the Indian mobile number.

Also, our user account format is totally changed. Now, I don't know how to add on individual channel our self.

As per the CC, a separate link is available for add-ons and a-la-carte. But their technical team forgot to add those links in portal I think, initial login is with subscriber id and password is reset to 'password' itself.

After logging to Sundirect > Best DTH, DTH Service in India, Direct to Home, Digital TV, Full HD Display [Click Home page] > for add ons → Cinema Plus, Super Value Pack, World Pack, Add ons & a la carte, HD Television , For ala carte → Cinema Plus, Super Value pack, World pack, Add ons & a la carte , HD Television
U can get in Packages section in the choices too . Actually 1st we r getting Dashboard page as soon as we login, that confuses us . For any other info go for Home page itself..

Yes, you are right Mr.Bhat sir.

But, these pages are available to every one. You dont need to signin for your account.

Once you select these add-on, then you will get a full sheet to fill & complete (not like earlier).

Now, anyway, it is not working. When you click the "Proceed" key, it goes to Subscription page.

Agreed. Also, Introduced add-on packages or channels now with SMS verification.

Hope, they will have online facility also like before.
