lol, but fact is that cc guys are not direct employee of tata sky. Cc run by third party. Whatever information provide by ts then only they know. May be cc guys [cc guy has a portal which gives latest update about ts] not check that portal.

Tata Sky offers” English Movies Pack at Rs 4 for first month “promotional” offer on English Movies Pack – It’s a 1 Day Promotion Offer ("Promotion") offered on Tata Sky, wherein Tata Sky Residential subscribers subscribing to the English Movies Pack ("English Movies Pack”") on 19 October 2013 shall be entitled to receive English Movies Pack at Rs 4 for the first month of subscription, after the completion of first month, the channel becomes chargeable at Rs 60 pm from second month onwards.
All Tata Sky subscribers (hereinafter referred to as “You”) who avail of this offer shall be bound by the following terms and conditions: Definitions
"Active account status" means a positive account balance in your Subscriber Account.
"Promotion Day": 19 October 2013 Eligibility


  1. The Promotion is open ONLY to Tata Sky subscribers with an Active account status.
  2. You must have subscribed to English Movies Pack on the Promotion Day.
  3. The following persons cannot avail this Promotion:
    1. Employees and relatives of Tata Sky;
    2. Tata Sky business associates including its dealers and advertising agencies; and
    3. Anyone else who may be involved with the Promotion.
    4. Subscribers who are already holding English Movies Pack as part of Base pack or as add on pack as on the offer day.
  4. Tata Sky reserves the right, at any time, to verify eligibility requirements, in any manner deemed appropriate.

Modes of availing the Promotion:


  1. You may avail the Promotion by subscribing to the English Movies Pack on the Promotion Day by the following way:
    By giving a missed call to 0 76762 76762 from Your Registered Mobile Number
  2. The Price of the pack is Rs 60 pm and you can get it for only Rs 4 for the first month by subscribing the pack on the promotion day.
  3. Rs 4 will be deducted from your Tata Sky account on the promotion day itself.
  4. No Refunds will be made in case the subscriber is already holding the pack.
  5. The pack stays chargeable at Rs 60 per month after the first month of subscription is over. No cash refunds shall be made under any circumstances whatsoever.
  6. Tata Sky reserves the right at anytime, without prior notice, to add or vary all or any of these terms and conditions or to replace, wholly or in part this Promotion or to withdraw it completely.
  7. Tata Sky will not be liable for any loss, damage or cancellation of this Promotion caused by events beyond its reasonable control including war, natural calamities, floods, failure of telecommunication network etc.
  8. You acknowledge and agree that all disputes in relation to this Promotion shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Mumbai.
  9. Tata Sky is not responsible for printing or typographical errors in any Promotion related materials; or for transactions that are lost, misdirected, fail to enter into the processing system, or are processed, reported, or transmitted late or incorrectly or are lost for any reason including computer, telephone, paper transfer, mail system, human or other error; or for electronic, computer, or telephonic malfunction or error, including inability to access the Tata Sky website or process any transaction thereon.

I have one very basic question regarding above. I activated above package for 4/month. I activated on 19th oct. So till 19Nov it will be activated. After that, on 21Nov, if I had to cancel the pack, How much will i lose? The full 60Rs for the english movie pack or 4Rs(On per day basis)?

Srini yes right question. But dont worry they will not charge rs.60 at once i.e. From 19 november you will charge 2 per day till deactivate your pack not Rs. 60 at once. So enjoy the offer

Thanks Suniel . That was my long time doubt!! Happy that I'm not charged full amount on start of every month. Is this rule applicable for HD access as well?
Say I activated HD for 1 month for 100Rs. and If I deactivate HD two day after one month subscription.

  3. Rs5 will be deducted from your account on the offer day itself i.e 26 Oct 2013.
