I got an sms last week from 'ADAIRDTH' which went like: "Airtel Digital TV Surprises: Enjoy English movies, entertainment, and news channels in your account for FREE. These will be removed after 60 days. TnC Apply."
I thought it is some spam message and checked my tv the next day, but initially didnt get this free package. Later, upon tweeting to airtel digital tv on twitter I got a call within minutes asking me to send the photo of the error screen, and she asked me to turn off the set top box and turn it on. And voila, I got all the above mentioned channels(English news, movies and entertainment SD).
The highlight here is not the free channels that some of us got, but the customer care which was very responsive and this is a proof of how a company can use social media to address the concerns quickly.
