Bro how set top box tv channels being shown, is it via Jio TV app as that's what was shown in their AGM. The STB is android I guess which has Jio cinema app also.

So I wanted to know is the TV via Jio tv app or direct TV like DTH which has channel number. ?

Also how was the PQ and AQ of SD and HD channels as compared to TS?

Another thing I wanted to know is will the Jio STB use internet data from the 100GB per month quota to stream tv channel ?

If yes then watching HD channels for few hours would use up lots of data ? What's the use then

Watching HD Channels on internet is definitely not a good idea. Infact normal SD feed would take a lot of bandwidth.

There is still a confusion whether watch TV on Giga TV STB via Giga Fiber will be unlimited or counted from monthly quota,

Many people say that IPTV thru fixed fiber line is not counted like wireless 4G/WiFi.
We will have to see how it works when it launches next month

Bandwidth requirement of 1080p stream is 4mbps. And here you are getting 100mbps minimum. So don't worry you are completely misinformed.
Moreover, data won't be counted against the data caps since IPTV works on intranet and net neutrality policy allows intranet to be out of the perview of it.

So jio giga TV will use jio android TV app to broadcast TV so that won't count data u mean? They also will have jio cinema app, what about that.
