But they forgot that Jio is a Pan India Service provider just like DTH, and not like cable MSO who are regional.

RIL also owns Viacom18/Netwrok18 channels while Cable MSO dont own any channels.

Its not just about GigaTV. It is about whole jio users. More than 200Million users. Whats is the user base of Airtel DTH or Tatasky?
Also, this isnt a commercial launch from day one. For new areas there will be loads of teething problems.

If everyone starts using APK on their tv who will buy Giga tv STB?

I guess the old APK will stop working soon.

It is JIO who will slowly gradually charge for On Demand Service like JIO Cinema and JIO TV and if not then also to watch the contents one have to have JIO Sim and data pack which is again a kind of subscriber base of JIO for ZEE.
