No, 2222 remote if a RF remote and will not work with 2011. you will need to ask them for a PVR remote which is compatible with 2011.

You should drop an email to them and ask for a replacement remote to use complete functionality. After all you must have paid Rs 199 for its activation and Rs 30 on monthly basis.

I read one post in fb page that he got manual update in his HD box 2011. Engineer installed the new version with download id 47!!
if it's real we'll soon get another update for HD 2011 stb having download id 47.

now, I got manually updated download id 40 on HD box 2011, by visiting local service centre of Ahmedabad. Now its Dolby through HDMI with recording option with stable version

So, I don't think there would be software patch of version 47. There is much difference between 40 and 47. And if 40 is providing Dolby through HDMI and USB recording , them it's the latest upgrade.

Also, are they charging visit charge for doing this manual software updation ?

actually I got follow up call from local service centre & I told them my concern of Dolby ,then the person asked me to come to their service centre with hd box and updated to 40 from 32 without any charge. He told 40 is the stable version,43/47 still under test with some issues .

Some features ,
1) New software comes with USB recording Enabled.
2. EPG is a lot faster now
3) Startup d2h logo crispy clear hd
4) Dolby Sound can be set Default but we cant control volume button of hd box
5) Weather added in EPG
6) Full HD video set to 1080p from 1080i . Sd video also lookd clear and crispy.

But this is possible only for those cities where d2h service centers are available like Ahmedabad, mumbai etc. otherwise we'll have to pay them for home visit.
