Sony is reportedly in talks to acquire Crunchyroll from AT&T's WarnerMedia for an estimated 1.5 billion.
According to The Information, Sony would add Crunchyroll to go along with its current anime streaming service, Funimation.

Except South East Asia, Indian subcontinent, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Crunchyroll has anime catalogue over 1200+ animes worldwide. Here they can't buy that much because of distributor like Muse, Medialink, ODEX, Mighty Delta etc who distributes to asian VOD, Animax, Netflix, Aniplus, Sushiroll etc.

Sony LIV sucks.. Crunchyroll is lot better.
