no even i made a complaint for the unabilty of my box to record programs...but they said to me dat since my city is inaccessible for them they told me dat dey wud courier it to me..and so they did...without any extra charge and my box got updated to download id 40 from 20..and is now working quite well..

What did they courier to you? The software? By what means, and how did you upgrade your software?

they couriered the upgraded box to my city branch. From the branch the engineers camt to my house and installed the new box and took the old box..they did all this free of cost...but they will courier it to you only if your city is inaccesible..otherwise the engineers from your city branch will directy replace your old stb wid da new upgraded one

is it possible to record through USB? or do i need to upgrade any software???

Yes, we are all talking about this only. Selected customer has already got software update and are enjoying Dolby audio through HDMI and USB recording

But majority are yet to get that upgrade.

Last time i got manually updated to id 43 to get dolby through hdmi. But recently the hd box was hanging up several times. i called them and they swap hd box 2011 with software id 36 . This version is also able to dolby through hdmi and recording with stability

there is definitely a software glitch still in id 43, that's why they didn't released it. I think d2h is never gonna be able to make stable update
