we should personnaly thanks a Ton to 'd2h' for adding long awaited (of 1 year) Star Sport 2 SD channel on videocon d2h platform finally...
However this will not cherish my journey going next in next few daya..( FINALLY MADE my DECESION to disconnect all my 3 d2h Platinum HD connection after 31st March as said earlier too) ..

With addition of SS2 ( A SD channel) d2h has increased Platinum HD Pack Price to 521 from 481 ( marginally high of 40/- extra)...
I highlight here, this is the second Package Price HIKE done by d2h before completion of 1 year...Ealrier same Package Prices were increased by 40/- again last year April2013 to 481 form 440 of Platinum HD Pack..
So Total amount increased with this package is of 80/- extra...for last 1 year....

And See the benefits -
-- No any single HD channel addition happened: Pespi M-TV Indies HD, Romedy Now+ HD, NGC Wild HD,NGC People HD, Fox Travller HD and most combo Premium HD of HBO Defined HD & HBO Hits HD

-- No D2h Cinema HD & No D2h Active music HD within base pack...
-- no Ten Cricket Added in Platinum HD base pack..
-- Only SPW HD was added in this one year and too as ADD on kept out of this Package..
--NO benefits on multiconnection ADD On : Any ADD on activated in main package should automatically reflect to multiconnection-mirror package without extra charge there.

SO single HD channel benefit given to customer more than 1+ year and 2 Pke Price hikes about huge difference of 80/- within 1 year...VERY CUSTOMER FOCUS-FRINEDLY Services D2h....

( FINALLY MADE my DECESION to disconnect all my 3 d2h Platinum HD connection on 31st March as said earlier too) ..
REASON :
with the increase in Platinum HD Package Price now d2h has become COSTLY ( 440/- to 520/- within 1 year) SIMILAR to other dth players like Dish,TS+ with the higher HD packages price
Also still long list of HD channels and Marathi-SD channels (as stated in earlier mail) is pending more than 1-1.5+ year...
So now WHY should I continue with the d2h being NOT gettting still these demanded channels more than 1 year on platform with increase in HEAVY package price....Platinum HD..NO Point at all after such a LONG wait and with HIGH Package Price.

*****Also Dish TV is now going to add only lacking SS1HD & SS2HD,SS2 before 20th March...With this Dish is the only DTH now having highest number of all demanded HD channels (right form day 1 except SS1HD & SS2HD)...Now d2h matches same package price with Lack of LONG HD channel list more than 1 year....
*****dish have got huge TP space now with them...the ongoing issues over indiacast channels will be soon get resolved.
*****have its own TEN & ZEE channels within base pack...

OR TS also leading-coming with most awaited HD channels with them despite having shortage of space...

SO Choice is VERY clear now to ANY DTH- infact d2h HD customers...Thanks D2h for listening to customer with immediate effect and that too with heavy Package Price n lacking channel-HD benefits....

Post this on d2h fb page or mail them on [email protected] with your customer id they will surely call you with some good offer or provide you future addition plans.Because soon d2h going to add Mtv Indies HD & Romedy Now+ on Plantinum HD Pack at that time price will not hike as they hiked at one shot which i also feels wrong.

I too feel that some HD addition might happen soon and d2h hiked the price of package in advance to avoid any further price hike frequently.

Guys no need to be excited.Romedy now is special.It will be available at 30rs a-la-carte only.

Overall it's trick of smart 'Demand 2 have' business having that Platinum HD pkg hike of 80/- for last 1 year... but caught up....
In general
1) keep Pay Add-ons delayed and not available till date like HBOs HD Premium duo(@99/)
2) Not add any single HD channel till date to bypass these packages hikes from 440/- to 520/- ofr listed period
3) having this Pkg hike of 520/- now, Recover the past 2-3 yrs invested money to compensate provided cheaper-economical services
4) with his hike now add pending 2-3 HD channels within base pack so people won't talk much and carry on this hike
5) once they continue n accept this hike then only Launch HD-ADD pending PAY-ADD-ON channels which can be kept outside of this Platinum HD pack..SO total package cost with Add ons can adds the benefits in turn over..Can't imagine total Pkg price here now and since then....
6)Be ready to bear FUTURE PAY Channels ADD ons as BROADCATERS are bringing it and not we DTH..and finally Pke hike every 1-2 years...

But d2h Was Charging Rs.480
For Platinum HD Before Current Price Hike...
D2h Is Charging For HD Pack Like This Method:
Super Gold Pack + HD Add-on
For Example:
Gold HD Pack=
Super Gold + HD Globe
Rs.220 + 169= 389
Same For
Gold Sports HD
Super Gold + Sports HD Add-on
220+ 121 = 341
Hindi Entertainment HD
Super Gold + Hindi Ent. Add-on
220 + 85 = 305

But Why Rs.480 For Platinum HD( Previously)?
Which Actuall Amount Is
396 + 169= Rs.565
Now Its Rs.520

Deffinetly Some Future Plan d2h Hiked The Rate, Because They Are Not Going To Make Another Higher Pack

For New South Platinum HD d2h Charging Rs.541
But Check Actuall Rate
Platinum Pack- Rs396
HD Globe- 169
Sun HD- 74
Total Is = Rs.639

But I Am Not Supports This Rs40 Hike Only For SS2

D2h is clearly loosing the tag of least expensive DTH.

They have hiked the prices twice without any major channels addition.

Where are the benefits in terms of 3-4 HD channel additions?? Nothing happened till now while increase in the Platinum HD Price.
History repeats similar to last year.
Fed up of d2h service who taking advantage of mainly HD cusotmers and checking Patience.
Otherwise soon Patiences will be diverted towards customer friendly n economical HD services.It could be digital cable also either in next few years.
