HELP Need Help

I am right now in Chennai & using ADTV HD DVR. I miss my fav. channel Al Jazeera in it.

Are there any Free To Air STB & Dish available to capture this channel & also what are all the other HD channels That I can capture from Chennai.

How much would the installation cost including HD STB, Dish & LNB.

Or will it be wiser to get just TS HD to get these channels.

I guess this Channel is available on TS as well as Dish TV.
You would get more FTA channels in Dish TV as compared to TS.

But if I take TS. I need to shell out 170 (Min South Pack)+125 (HD Access fee for HBO Defined & HBO Hits)+99, which roughly works out to 394, which is quite expensive for me..

it is better to stick to one dths rather than opting another for a single channel and if ALjazeera is FTA i guess one time investment would be better to view al jazeera channel/

Ya Even I am thinking of the same. If I get FTA STB & Dish I can also get other HD channels available in my region & I can view it for lifetime free

you would get South Asian feed of HD channels in chennai.
Are you staying in flat or individual home as the latter would have the advantages.

I just checked in the google & it seems like Al Jazeera along with other international channels like DW, TV5 Monde in the satellite Asiasat 3S.

Also I guess its C band, not sure how to install & capture those signal.

Satellite technicians would set up if you head to richie street and enquire in any dth/satellite retailers.

all local cable people got experience to capture DW,TV5 monde,australia network,around 25 gulf channels.so search some aged cable people for acure and fix the dish.they wont need more money compare to tech people. 1 + 500 rupees.
